Shingle roofs
Shingles pick up dark streaks, green film and algae too, most of all on shaded slopes. They get the same low pressure soft wash.
Tile roofs
Barrel and flat tile hold algae, mildew and dark streaks, most of all on shaded slopes.
Metal roofs
Metal collects streaks and film too. The method is chosen for the finish.

Dark streaks, green film, moss and buildup sitting on and between the roofing.

A roof is not a driveway. Force can loosen or damage roofing, so we use low pressure and a cleaning solution that does the work. The plants below the roofline are covered first.

Get a written estimate

Prep and work
We send preparation instructions and agree access and setup. Plants below the roofline are covered, and then we soft wash the roof.
Walk it, then pay

What roof types does Patrick clean?
Shingle, tile and metal roofs. If your roof is another material, ask us to confirm it is suitable before you book.
Do you use high pressure on a roof?
No. We soft wash roofs, which means low pressure and a cleaning solution. The method is chosen for the material and the condition we find.
Can I combine roof and house washing?
Yes. Patrick offers a roof cleaning package with house washing. Your estimate lists each surface and any preparation needed. See house washing.
Does the paver warranty cover my roof?
The 3 year minimum warranty is for paver sealing, not roof cleaning. Ask for the terms that apply to your roof job instead of assuming.
Will cleaning repair a damaged roof?
No. A soft wash removes growth. It is not a repair, and it is not an inspection of the roof. Cracked tiles, leaks and worn roofing need a roofer, so tell us about anything you already know.
